MovieMatchDo I need a Trakt account?
No for public discovery. To use watchlist, watched history and ratings, sign in with your existing Trakt account and approve MovieMatch. No separate MovieMatch account is created.
Where is the Client Secret stored?
Only as a Cloudflare Worker secret. It is not present in the website, browser storage, exports or repository.
What does a normal tap on Watched do for a series?
It opens the rating screen. When connected, the default series action marks the next unwatched episode. You can instead save only the series rating.
What does pressing and holding Watched do?
After a deliberate hold and confirmation, MovieMatch sends every already-aired regular episode to your Trakt history. Specials and future episodes are excluded.
Are Trakt images loaded directly?
No. The Worker retrieves and caches them before serving them to the app, as required for Trakt image use.
Can I export my local data?
Yes. Settings exports MovieMatch-specific device data such as likes, skips and cached catalogue entries. Trakt watchlist, history and ratings stay in Trakt.
What happens offline?
The installed app shell and previously cached catalogue entries remain available. Trakt writes and account synchronization require a connection.
