Catalogue, watchlist, favorites, history, playback progress and ratings come from Trakt. Public discovery works without signing in; personal actions require Trakt authorization.
MovieMatchSecure connection
Authentication happens on Trakt. The OAuth token exchange runs in a Cloudflare Worker, and the Client Secret is never included in the website or browser.
Fast actions
Swipe left for Not interested, swipe right to add to the Trakt watchlist, or tap a card for its trailer, rating, credits and full description. The explicit favorite and watched controls remain available.
Private matching
D1 stores invite codes, consented connections and compact Trakt-ID snapshots. A comparison is allowed only after the recipient accepts the request.
